JAC Result 2022: The results of Class 10 and Class 12 (Science) Jharkhand State Board exams 2022, led by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), were declared on June 21, 2022 (Tuesday). Abhijit Sharma, student of Jharkhand board Class 10, who belongs to a middle class family, hailing from the Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand, has emerged as the topper of the JAC 10th board exams 2022.
A student of Ramakrishna Mission English School situated in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, Abhijit has secured a total of 490 marks out of 500 to clinch the first rank with 98 %. It is noteworthy that 5 other female matriculation students of the state have seized the top position too.

Expressing elation on the accomplishment, Abhijit stated, 'I was pretty sure that I am going to score good marks in the matric board exams, but I did not have the slightest idea that I would finish as the top ranker.'

He continued by saying that he has never achieved the second position in his entire school life, right from Class I. Highlighting his study strategy, he said that he used to devote 8 hours to studying daily. Of these 8 hours, he used to go through new topics for six hours, revise the topics for one hour and spend another 1 hour penning down what he had studied earlier. Shedding light on his aspirations, Abhijit stated that his ambition is to become a software engineer.

Happiness knew no bounds for Akhilesh Sharma, topper Abhijit's father and a carpenter by profession, when his son was declared the state topper after JAC 10th result 2022 declaration. Sharma stated that he is a carpenter, who mends chairs by going door-to-door and earns bread for the family.

Talking to ANI, Abhijit's father, Akhilesh Sharma said, 'When the results for Jharkhand state board 10th class exams were declared, much to our surprise, we learnt that our son has emerged as the topper of the matric exams.'

JAC 10th Result 2022: Statistics

The matric state board exams witnessed a footfall of 3.9 lakh students this year, while a turnout of nearly 2.8 lakh Intermediate Science students was recorded. The passing percentage for Class 10 students stood at 95.60 percent this time, while that of Intermediate Science students halted at 91.42 percent.
