Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh bagged all India first rank in the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017, the results of which were announced on Sunday.

While Sarvesh scored 339 marks out of 366, Pune's Akshat Chugh stood second. At least 1.7 lakh candidates had registered and appeared in it. Candidates, who cleared the JEE (Main) or the first phase of the two-phase exams, were eligible to sit for the JEE-(Advanced).

Chugh  was ranked 7th in JEE Main 2017.

Ananye Agarwal from Delhi ranked 3rd in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced this year.


Simple steps to check IT JEE Advanced 2017 result:

Step One: Log onto jeeadv.ac.in
Step Two: Click on the relevant link.
Step Three: Enter your registration number.
Step Four: Click on Submit option.
