Amid the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing measures, the announcement has been made by State Principal Secretary of Education, Himachal Pradesh regarding the evaluation of answer sheets. To follow the social distancing measures, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board will now send SOS (State Open School), 10th & 12th grade answer sheets to the teachers' home for evaluation. The board has made complete arrangements for this. Apart from this, the examinations for the remaining subjects under 12th and SOS will be held after the lockdown is over. The examinations and practical for HP Board have been postponed till further orders due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the country.

While talking to our media sources, the School Education Board President Dr Suresh Kumar Soni said, the board took some important decisions regarding the answer sheet evaluation at teachers' home, which will now be sent to the state government for approval. Of the remaining subjects whose board exams are still pending, the number of students is very less. The number of students for these subjects is nearly seven to eight at each of these examination centres.
