The Goa state government has instructed the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) to resume the Board Exams for remaining papers of Class 10th and 12th. The exam is scheduled to be held on later this month after the over of the period of lockdown 3.0.

According to media reports, the GBSHSE Class 10th and 12th Board Exams 2020 will be held from May 21 onwards. GBSHSE Board chairman Ramakrishna Samant has announced that Goa Board HSSC Exam 2020 for remaining two papers will be held from May 20 to 22, 2020, while Goa Board SSC Exam 2020 for all papers will be held from May 21 onwards.

The detailed time table will be released soon on the official website of the GBSHSE. Students can check the exam datesheet either by visiting the official website or from their respective schools.

The Goa is the first state which has been declared as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) free. Both the districts of Goa i.e. South Goa and North Goa has been declared as the green zone. 

Those districts are assigned as Green zones where the COVID-19 positive cases are either zero till date or, no confirmed cases have been reported in the last 21 days. While the districts covered under Red Zones have a high number of positive cases and a high doubling rate. The districts covered under Orange Zones have comparatively fewer COVID-19 positive cases.
