CSIR NET Cut-off 2024: The Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2024 has decreased the cut-off for all subjects except mathematical science and life science, across all categories. The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website i.e. csirhrdg.res.in. to check the CSIR NET June 2024 cut-off.
The CSIR NET result for June 2024 will be released for the candidates in percentile along with the marks obtained by a candidate to utilize the marks for PhD admissions. CSIR HRDG will notify the instructions related to the issuance of the eligibility certificate and validity of the fellowship.
The candidates may note that the CSIR UGC NET results 2024 were declared on 13 September 2024. A total of 1,963 candidates have qualified for the CSIR NET June 2024 exam for category 1 of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and are also eligible for the post of assistant professor. 11 students have passed the exam for JRF only.
However, 1,875 candidates have qualified for the test for JRF under the University Grants Commission (UGC)’s JRF scheme. These candidates are also eligible for assistant professor posts. Under category 2 for assistant professor and admission to PhD programs, a total of 3,172 candidates have been declared qualified. On the other hand, as many as 10,969 are eligible for category 3 which is for PhD admissions only.
The candidates may note that the NTA CSIR NET cut-off has increased for mathematical science subjects whereas the CSIR UGC NET cut-off for assistant professors has gone up for mathematical science as well as life science subjects.
