The result for the Odisha 12th Arts & Vocational Exam 2020 has been delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier the CHSE 12th Arts stream board exam result was expected in the last week of August 2020. Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha will announce the results of higher secondary arts and vocational streams for 2019-20 board exam in the first week of September 2020.
According to the latest media reports, the State education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that the result of Plus II Arts and Vocational courses will be declared in the first week of September as we failed to meet the August end deadline as two employees of Council of Higher Secondary Education have tested positive for Covid-19.
A total of 2.18 lakh students have appeared for the Odisha 12th Arts & Vocational Exam 2020 this year. The examination for the anthropology, sociology and geography papers could not be held due to significant lockdown imposed by the Central Government. The CHSE has adopted special assessment scheme for the evaluation of these papers. According to the CHSE special assessment scheme, if a student has appeared in more than three papers, then an average mark will be calculated from the best three subjects he/she has appeared for.
The result for the Odisha Board 12th Science was declared on August 12, while the result for the Odisha Board Class 12 Commerce stream was declared on August 19, 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the revaluation process upto September 05, 2020.
A total of 98,536 students appeared for class 12 examinations in science stream and 70.21 per cent students have passed. a total of 25,000 commerce students took their Plus Two final exams from 1,143 exam centres out of whom 74.95% have passed. The Council is yet to announce the result for Odisha 12th Arts & Vocational Exam 2020.
