Girls outsine Boys this year
In Chattisgarh Board 10th, 12th Result 2020, girls surpass boys this year. Out of the students appeared in class 10th exam, 76.28% of girls have passed the exam while in boys the pass percentage is 70.53%. While in class 12th the pass percentage of girls is 82.02%and for the boys it is stood at 74.40%.
Tikesh Vaishnav tops in Class 12th
Tikesh Vaishnav from Mungeli district tops in CGBSE Board Class 12th Result 2020. He has secured 489 marks out of 500 (97.80%) followed by Shreya Agarwal with 485 marks and Tannu Yadav with 483 marks.
In CGBSE Class 10th Result 2020, Pragya Kashyap from Mungeli has topped the HSC exam by securing 100% marks followed by Prashansa Rajput with 99.33% marks and Bharti Yadav with 98.67% marks respectively.
This year 73.62% pass out in class 10th, 78.59% students pass out in 12th
This year, the pass percentage of class 10th stood at 73.62% while the pass percentage of class 12th stood at 78.59%.

Students from 1 to 8, 9 & 11 got promoted this year
The Chhattisgarh state government has promoted students of classes 1 to 8, 9 &11 to the next class this year. The state government stated that it is not possible to conduct the examination in the near future due to significant increase in the COVID-19 cases. Due to which the state government decided to give general promotion to the students studying from class 1 to 8 and classes 9 and 11.
Check last year pass percentage
Last year, more than 6 lakh students have appeared in the CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examination. The overall pass percentage for class 12th was 78.43% while in class 10th the overall pass percentage was 68.20%.
An hour left for the CG Board Class 10th, 12th result declaration
The CGBSE Board result will be announced today at 11:00 AM through a press conference led by the State Education Minister Prem Sai Singh. Students are advised to keep their roll numbers handy to check the result as soon as declared.
Marks to be awarded on the basis of Internal Assessment
According to the official notice, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has awarded the marks of cancelled examination on the basis of internal assessment. All those students who have failed to appear in the internal assessment procedures would be given minimum passing marks.
CGBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak
The Board examination was commenced on March 03, but due to COVID-19 outbreak in the state, the board was forced to cancel the class 10th & 12th remaining exams.
Result delayed due to COVID-19 epidemic
Last year, the CGBSE results were announced on May 10, 2019. This year the result declaration has been delayed in wake of the COVID-19 epidemic.

This year more than 6 Lakh students appeared for the CGBSE Board Exams 2020. Out of which around 3.84 lakh students appeared in the Chhattisgarh Board Class 10th exams, while about 2.66 lakh students appeared for the plus-two exams.
