The speculation about the results declaration of the CBSE 10th and 12th examination is at its peak. As the month of June has ended, students are distraught about the results of their Boards Examination. With no official statement from the CBSE, the students are further slipping into an abyss about their career prospects.

According to the statement given to the media by Controller of Exams, CBSE Sanyam Bhardwaj, "The board is on track to advance the schedule. UG admission schedule of different institutions are kept in mind and CBSE (is) in touch with the concerned authorities to protect the interest of its students,”.

Several media reports are claiming that the evaluation process is likely to end, and tentatively the results for both Class 10th and 12th board will be declared by the end of July. CBSE had been blaming the delay in results declaration to the newly adopted  Bi-Yearly assessment model because of the covid pandemic.

CBSE has conducted the Term 1 board examination in November and December 2021 and the results for this term were declared in February 2022. After this, the CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations were conducted from April 26th till June 15, 2022. Term 2 became the longest exam ever conducted by CSBSE lasting for 51 days. Generally, CBSE examinations are concluded in 1 months timespan.

CBSE has conducted the examination after a gap of Two years in offline, pen and paper mode. It would be interesting to analyse the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the performance of the CBSE student.
