Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to declare the result for CA Intermediate (Old and New course) exam on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Simple steps to check result as follows:

Step 2: Go to the result option. 
Step 3: Read the process of checking result. 
Step 4: Download the result. 

Eligibility

The four stage procedure is as follows:

Any student who has passed 10thclass or any course equivalent to that can apply for the Common Proficiency Course (CPC) first.
Post qualifying for the 10+2 exam, a student has to then qualify in CPT exam.
After the CPT IPCC, successful article-ship or training under an officially practicing C.A has to be done for 3 years.
Then comes the CA Final.



The nomenclature for CA CPT has been changed to CA Foundation as per the new syllabus. There are 4 papers in CA Foundation course.  Note that the Paper 2 and Paper 4 will be Objective type papers. Read below.

CA New Syllabus 2018| CA IPCC or CA Intermediate Syllabus
 

There are 8 papers in CA IPCC or CA Intermediate new scheme from 2016. In the previous notification, ICAI said that they are going to remove Information Technology and Strategic Management Paper from CA IPCC Group – 2 completely. But in the new notification, Information Technology & Strategic Management paper also included. In new syllabus Direct tax laws for 60 marks and Indirect tax laws for 40 Marks. 1. Passing percentage: Aggregate- 50% and Subject-wise- 40% at one sitting.

3. Examination: In the month of November and May after passing Class XII

4. The council has taken the decision of reducing the chartered accountant course duration from 5 years 3 months to 3.5 years.
