Through the AKTU tuition fee waiver scheme, students whose family income does not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per annum are eligible for free admission. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, before 2015 known as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, is a public collegiate university in Lucknow.
It was established as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University through the Government of Uttar Pradesh on May 8, 2000. AKTU has announced a postponement of the special carry-over examination initially scheduled for November 2024. The exam will now take place next year.
The delay is attributed to issues with the question bank and complications with the examination agency, which have affected the original schedule.
