ICAI CA Exam: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the cut-off date for enrolment in the Foundation and Intermediate courses for the upcoming September 2024 and January 2025 CA examinations.

According to the official notice, from now on the CA exams will be held thrice a year (annually), for aspiring Chartered i.e. in the moth of may, september, and january. Furthermore, candidates must note that the CA May exams are set to commence from 2 May, 2024.

Previously, the CA exams for all three courses were offered twice a year until last year. But as of now, the institute will only adhere to the current guidelines for the twice-yearly CA Final course exam, which is scheduled for May and November.

The new ICAI policy states that students who meet the requirements outlined in Regulation 25F and have been registered with the ICAI Board of Studies for at least four months on or before the first day of the examination month are eligible to take the CA Foundation exam.

In order to be eligible to appear in the next examination for the Intermediate course, students must be registered with the institute, produce a certificate stating that they have completed a study course for at least eight months as of the first day of the month in which the exam is held, and meet the other eligibility requirements outlined in Regulation 28G.
