Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has decided to conduct a special carry over exam giving a mercy chance for the candidates who failed in the examination during the academic session 2013-14 .
After this decision the failed candidates from all stream along with B.Tech would be able to participate in the exam. Issuing a statement the university said that the examination will be held in the month of September.
The students of B.Tech (2nd & 3rd Year) were agitating in Lucknow and Noida demanding the special carry over examination. These students are registered with the then Mahamaya Technical university & Gautam Budhha Technical University. The examination will be conducted for these students now.
UPTU in an academic council meeting has given nod to this examination.

The examination form for such students has been issued.
