UP Police Constable Exam 2024 update: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released an updated notice in connection with the UP Police Constable Exam 2024. Candidates, registered to appear for the upcoming exam, can access the official notice available on the UPPBPB's official website (uppbpb.gov.in).
According to the notice, the UPPBPB stated that the examination dates have been rescheduled to August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024. While the test will be conducted in two shifts each day, a break in the schedule has been planned due to Janmashtami, which falls on August 26. It should be mentioned that the recruitment drive aims to fill 60,244 police constable positions.
"The written examination for direct recruitment-2023 to the posts of Reserve Civil Police is to be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board in two shifts on 23, 24, 25 August and 30, 31 August, 2024," read the notice.
According to media reports, the board has also called on candidates and the public to report any attempts to undermine the integrity of the recruitment process, such as paper leaks, cheating, or solver gangs. Apart from this, the Board has assured that all information about illegal activities will be kept confidential.
"Information about any attempt related to violating the sanctity of recruitment examinations like paper leak, paper buying and selling, cheating in examination, solver gang or any other undesirable activity can be made available to the board. The identity of the person sharing will be kept confidential" pointed out the notice
Earlier, the UP Police Constable exam was held in four shifts on February 17 and 18, 2024, with over 48 lakh candidates participating. However, the exam was canceled on February 24 due to a question paper leak, and the state government has mandated that the exam be rescheduled within six months.
