The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday, released the application form for UGC NET 2021 June session exam. The application form is available in the online mode on the official website of the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.  All desirous and eligible candidates can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor from the official website upto September 05, 2021.

The NTA has scheduled to conduct the National Eligibility Test-2021 for June session from October 06 to October 11, 2021. The official notification reads, "Due to postponement of December 2020 UGC-NET in view of COVID-19, the schedule of June 2021 UGCNET has been delayed." This year NTA has merged the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 session in order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles. The examination will be held online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. 

UGC NET June 2021 - Important Dates

Starting Date for Registration of Online Application: August 10, 2021
Last Date for Registration of Online Application: September 05, 2021
Last Date for Submission of Application Fee: September 06, 2021, at 11.50 PM
Correction Online Application Form: September 07 to 12, 2021
CBT Exam Date:  October 06 to October 11, 2021

UGC NET June 2021 Eligibility Criteria: 

Candidate should pass/ Appeared Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC falling in Non Creamy layer/ SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates).

Pay the Examination Fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking/ SBI Collect/ SBI E Challan submit fee in any SBI Branch.

For OBC-NCL: 500/-
For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender: 250/-

UGC NET June 2021 - Simple Steps to Apply

Step 1: Visit NTA UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and csirnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Candidates are advised to check detailed eligibility criteria and other details

Step 3: Click on the application link and complete the application form.

Step 4: Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature

Step 5: Submit the application fee in the online mode

Step 6: Cross-check the UGC NET 2021 Application form and finally submit the application

Step 7: Candidates will be required to keep the print out of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
