IIT JAM 2023 Registration Dates: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will soon start the application process for Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023 Joint Entrance Examination. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitg.ac.in when the registration starts.
IIT JAM 2023 Know when and what will happen
JAM 2023 admission registration process will be started by IIT Guwahati from 07 September. Whereas the registration is to end on October 11, 2022. At the same time, the Joint Postgraduate Entrance Examination of JAM 2023 is going to be conducted on February 12, 2023. The result for this will be declared on March 22, 2023. After this, online applications for admission can be made from April 11 to April 25, 2023.
What is the application fee for IIT JAM 2023?
It is mandatory to pay IIT JAM 2023 application fee which is Rs 900 for single test paper and for both test paper for female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and PWD i.e. Disability Category 1,250 is Rs. Other general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,800 for one test paper and Rs 2,500 for two test papers.
IIT JAM 30 will get admission in more than 2,300 seats of CFTI
JAM 2023 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted in seven different subjects. These include Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH). The JAM 2023 exam scores can be used by around 30 CFTIs, including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER, IIPE, JNCASR and SLIET, for more than 2,300 seats.

There are three types of questions asked in the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2023 conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in CBT mode. These consist entirely of objective types. However, these also include (i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), (ii) Multiple Choice Questions (MSQ), and (iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
