The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) commenced the application process for the ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (ICMR JRF) Test 2020 from May 16, 2020.
The application forms are available on the official website i.e. icmr.nic.in.
The candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the same.
The application process for ICMR JRF has been scheduled to be concluded on June 16. 2020. A total of 150 fellowships will be awarded through this exam by the ICMR and 120 will be in the field of Biomedical Science and 30 will be for work emphasis on Social Science.
The last notice regarding ICMR JRF read that the examination for the same has been scheduled to be conducted on July 12, 2020.

ICMR JRF Entrance Exam 2020 Syllabus
ICMR JRF Exam will consist of questions from the following given subjects/topics
The Aptitude Section (Section A)
- A scientific phenomenon in everyday life
- General knowledge of sciences
- Common statistics
The subject Specific Section (Section B & C)
- Life Sciences
- Social Science
ICMR JRF Entrance Exam 2020 Pattern
ICMR JRF Exam will consist of one paper and the duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. The paper will consist of 2 Sections.
The Aptitude Section (Section A) will have 50 questions on
- A scientific phenomenon in everyday life;
- General knowledge in sciences; and
- Common statistics.
All these questions would be compulsory with each question carrying 1 mark.
The subject Specific Section (Section B & C) would pertain to
- Life Sciences and
- Social Science.
ICMR JRF 2020: Other important information
The examination will be held in collaboration with the Post-graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh by the ICMR. The computer-based test will be held on July 12, 2020.
