ICAR AIEEA PG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the All India Entrance Examination for the Admission Postgraduate (AIEEA-PG 2024) and the All India Competitive Examinations (AICE) JRF, SRF (PhD) 2024 tomorrow, 29 June.  

 

Candidates must note that the examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. 

 

Candidates will have to carry the AIEEA PG admit card 2024 downloaded from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR/, to the exam centre.

 

The NTA will conduct the ICAR AIEEA PG exam 2024 in the morning shift and the AICE PhD exam in the afternoon shift across 89 cities nationwide, for admissions to master's programs in various disciplines including agriculture, horticulture, forestry, veterinary, animal sciences, agricultural engineering, community science (formerly home science), fisheries, dairy science, and other allied sciences at agricultural universities.

 

AIEEA PG 2024: CBT exam details

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Total Questions: 120
  • Marking Scheme:
    • 4 marks for each correct answer
    • No marks for unattempted questions
    • 25% negative marking for every wrong response

 

AIEEA PG 2024: Required Documents

  • A printed copy of the AIEEA PG admit card, downloaded from the NTA website.
  • One passport-size photograph, identical to the one uploaded on the online application form, to be pasted in the designated space on the attendance sheet at the exam center.
  • Any one valid government-approved photo ID, such as a PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card with photograph, Aadhaar enrollment number, or ration card.
  • PwBD certificate issued by a competent authority, if applicable.

 

Through the entrance examination, 30% of the seats in agricultural universities will be allocated. Additionally, all seats at the four ICAR-DUs, namely Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), and Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), along with those at CAUs, will also be filled based on AIEEA PG scores. Furthermore, it was clarified that no more than 40% of candidates from any single state will be admitted to any agricultural university in a specific subject and category.
