The Consortium of National Law University (NLU) has again postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 examination, amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The authorities have also postponed the application process last date upto July 01, 2020. The NLU has issued an official notice stating the date extension of applications and postponement of the exam. Considering the current circumstances and extension in the lockdown period, the authorities decided to extend the application process.
Earlier the application process was extended upto May 18 and the CLAT 2020 entrance examination was scheduled to be held in the pen and paper mode on Sunday, 21st June 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates got further opportunity to apply for the exam in the online mode by visiting the official website.

CLAT 2020: Revised Exam Pattern
The University has also revised the exam pattern for this year.
UG Programme: The 1200 marks exam will be two-hour-long where Multiple-Choice Questions will be asked. There will be 120-150 questions of one mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
Subject areas: English including comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
PG Programme: The paper will have comprehension based questions. The exam will be two-hour long.
