NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is expected to soon begin the counseling process for All India Quota (AIQ) undergraduate medical seats 2024, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) had earlier informed the Supreme Court that the counseling process would start on 6 July. 

 

The committee will issue a detailed notification and schedule on its official website at mcc.nic.in.

 

The NTA had scheduled the NEET re-exam on 23 June, and the results were announced on July 1 to facilitate the start of the counseling process.

 

NEET UG Counselling is conducted in two segments: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and 85% State Quota counselling. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, manage and conduct the counselling for 15% AIQ seats. Candidates who have scored more than 50% of the All India cut-off marks are eligible to participate in the NEET AIQ counselling.

NEET UG Counselling: How to Apply? 

  • Firstly, visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. 
  • On the NEET UG Counselling page, open the NEET UG Counselling schedule under the "Schedule" tab.
  • Then, apply for online counselling and login to register. 
  • Fill the application form, upload the required documents, and submit. 
  • Download and take a print out for future reference.
