CTET July 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to close the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) tomorrow. Interested students can apply for CTET 2024 by visiting the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in.
Candidates may note that the CBSE will conduct the CTET 2024 exam on 7 July 2024. Candidates clearing the exam CTET paper 1 and paper 2 will be offered teaching jobs for Classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8.
CTET July 2024: Application fees
Candidates applying for only one paper will have to pay a fee of 1,000 rupees and those applying for both papers will have to submit 1,200 rupees. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD candidates will be given 50% relaxation in the application fee.
CTET July 2024: Exam Pattern
Candidates may note that the CTET 2024 papers 1 and 2 will have 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 will have sections – child development and pedagogy, mathematics, environmental studies, language 1, and language 2. Each section will have 30 questions. Paper 2 will also have five sections – child development and pedagogy, studies, language 1 and language 2, mathematics and science or social sciences (60 questions).
CTET July 2024: Important information
It is important to note that the CTET certificate will be Valid for a lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take. A person who has qualified for CTET can also appear again to improve the score.
Students clearing the CTET 2024 will be eligible for teaching jobs in schools operated by the central government such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, schools in Chandigarh, Delhi, Daman and Dir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Andaman and Nicobar, and other UTs.

- Then click on the 'CTET July 2024' link available on the home page.
- Register on the website and generate your credentials.
- Fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and proceed to payment.
- At last submit the application form and save the confirmation page.
- Candidates can take a printout of the same for future reference.
