Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), formerly Kanpur University, is a public university Located in one of the biggest industrial metropolis of State of Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur. It is regulated under the state legislature of the government of Uttar Pradesh.

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University stands as a hallmark for higher education. The university is geared to provide maximum scholastic benefit to each individual student. Now the university has 170 affiliated colleges in 15 districts. The university has a spreading campus of 264 acres, the university is booming with academic activities and providing the higher education to the students of the state.
