The crime branch of Lucknow police on Sunday arrested four men involved in fake marksheet racket.
While the gang was preparing fake marksheets of Class 10, 12 and graduation since 2012, fake degrees and marksheets made by them were related to boards that never existed.
Those arrested were identified as Amit Sisodiya, a native of Mathura, Shahi Ahmad of Bihar, Vikas Srivastava of Hardoi and Khalid Qadri of Lucknow, reports Hindustan Times.
“The gang was operational since 2012. A large number of fake marksheets and degrees have been recovered from the miscreants,” said Deepak Kumar, senior superintendent of police, on Monday.
