With Yogi Adityanath taking oath as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister in March, the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education has swung into action to curb mass cheating.
My Result traces the raft of measures taken by the CM to eradicate use of unfair means during board exams and restoring credibility of UP Board's Examination system.
The steps taken by the new UP CM following paper leak reports are as follows:
1. A week after FIRs were registered against invigilators for allowing students to cheat during board exam, CM Adityanath instructed Police to book teachers who force students to take tuition.
2. The UP government banned all forms of strikes in colleges with immediate effect.
3. Yogi directed officials to make Yoga education compulsory in government schools across the state.
4. Ensuring quality education, the UP CM said that old courses should be scrapped and new ones to be introduced as per requirement of modern times.
5. Uttar Pradesh Board has launched Whatsapp Number (9454457241) for registering complaints in connection with mass cheating.
