• Another good resource for preparing is the CBSE website which hosts the answer sheets of previous year’s toppers and can give you pointers on how best to attempt the Business studies paper.
• Always ensure that you do not get bogged down by the pressure. The pressure should drive you to do better and work hard and not stress you so much to shut down brain faculties.
• Marketing management and financial management are two topics which carry the maximum weightage and should be on your priority list for preparation and revision.
• During the initial 15 minutes given for reading, plan and prioritize as well as mentally organize your answers.
• Whenever possible write the headings from your NCERT books as applicable in the question.
• Try and attempt all questions and write and explain whatever you know about the question rather than leaving it blank. However, prioritize the questions you know well. Finish them before moving to difficult or confusing questions.
• Give examples in your answers wherever possible.
• If you can give diagrams too for example in questions related to scalar chain, communication network, divisional structure etc.
• Pay attention to proper presentation of your answers
• Try to anwer in points rather than in long winding paragraphs
• As per the marking scheme of CBSE, brief and to the point answers are preferred, do not fill pages just for the sake of it, you will only loose time.
