The 118 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) "Grenadiers", Fort Sitabuldi, will carry out recruitment at its premises here from March 23 to 26.
The recruitment will be done for soldiers (general duty), soldier clerk (SD) and tradesman hair dresser (barber) for personnel belonging to Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Goa and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadeep and Puducherry, a Defence release said on Thursday.
The candidates will have to report for registration from 5.30 AM to 5 PM on March 23.
They should carry two identical photographs with all original documents along with one set of attested photocopies of educational qualification, sports participation, job experience, work certificate or driving license held if any.
Being a part time service, candidates should be gainfully employed in civil/government/PSU or self-employed and should be between the age of 18 to 42 years, the release said.
For the personnel hailing from border districts of Rajasthan (Jaisalmer and Barmer district, Shergarh, Osian and Phalodi tehsils of Jodhpur district) and Gujarat (Ropar and Lakhpat tehsil of Kutch district), the minimum qualification will be class 10th pass, the release added.
