Asia's Universities: Announced #QSWUR QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analysts, have named Asia’s leading 426 universities.
The 2018 edition of the QS World University Rankings: Asia sees Nanyang Technological University take the number-one spot from compatriot National University of Singapore (II).
Highlights The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) rises from IV to III; South Korea's KAIST - Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology rises from VI to IV; China's top university remains Tsinghua University, which falls from V to VI; China’s Fudan University is the only new entrant into the top 10 this year; it has risen from XI to VII; The top 50 features universities from Japan (XI), China and South Korea (IX); Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan (V); India (III); Singapore (II); and Thailand (I); Malaysian universities make particularly noteworthy improvements this year, with three of its universities breaking into the top 50;
