Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said students belonging to the primitive Pahariya community who have passed the seventh standard will get jobs in police and have plan to open an office for the community in Dumka and Palamau district.

Das, who visited a village of the community at Murgathali, about six kms from Dumka, interacted with the people and announced to provide jobs for the seventh standard pass students of the community in the police department.

The Chief Minister also assured at the state government would ensure education for the community upto Bachelors degree.

The development of Pahariya community was among the top most priorities of the state government, Das, who was accompanied by the state welfare minister Dr Louis Marandi, added.
