According to a report by World Economic Forum, IT sector will see stability in jobs at least till 2020.
Ravi Shankar Prasad Minister for IT and Communications told the Parliament that jobs in Indian IT sector is going to be stable at least up to 2020. He quoted the research done by the WEF recently.
He also informed that as per the Nasscom, the Indian information technology (IT) and information technology enabled services (ITeS) industry continues to be the largest private sector employer and a net hirer of personnel and employs about 3.7 million people.
"In addition according to a Nasscom-Mckinsey study ''Perspective 2015'', about 1.2-2 million people will be added to the IT-ITeS workforce by 2020," he informed.
