The application process for the recruitment of various posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRB) will conclude today i.e. June 24, 2019.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had announced vacancies for various posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRB). In this recruitment process, 45 banks are taking part from all over the country. The process of application for all the post has been begun from Monday and will end on July 4.

Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale-1 (Assistant Manager): Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Working knowledge of computer is a must.
Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager): Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates should have two years of experience.
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks with 5years post-experience.
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the Main Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview. The detailed information is available on the official website of IBPS https://ibps.in/
For this recruitment process, the Interview will be held for Officers scale 1, 2 and 3 only.
The examination will be held in the month of August and September.
According to IBPS official planning, Pre-exam for Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant will be scheduled on August 3, 4, 11, 17, 18 and 25 August.
Examination for Officer scale-2 and Officer scale-3 will be held on September 22, 2019.
The main Examination for officer scale-1 will be held on September 22, 2019, and Office Assistant main exam will be on September 29, 2019.
Exam Fee
Candidates from General Category have to pay Rs.600
Candidates from SC, ST, PWD category have to pay Rs.100.

IBPS RRB 2019 Exam Paper Pattern
To begin with, you must know that the IBPS RRB 2019 exam is conducted online and it includes five main subjects, viz. General Awareness, English OR Hindi, Reasoning, Computer Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. All these subjects carry equal numbers of questions, but different marks. The time duration for each subject in the exam.
IBPS RRB 2019 Officer Grade Exam is conducted in 3 different phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview Process
The IBPS RRB 2019 paper for Office Assistant and Officers’ post will contain 80 questions of 80 marks. The time limit is 45 minutes. The candidates appearing for these posts should qualify the test and get the minimum cut-off to reach the next level.
After the exam, the candidates shall be selected for the Online Main Examination, depending upon the requirements and the mark they have scored in the Prelims paper.
Candidates (for both posts) have to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks. The adequate number of candidates in each category, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to All- Preliminary, Main and Single Level Examination)
There will be the penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
It is important to note that Prelims is your gateway to the Mains paper. Once you have cleared this exam, you need to start your preparation for the Mains. It is not a tough nut to crack the Prelims exam and with thorough practice, ample revision and mock tests and good study material, you can reach the cut-off.
