Haryana government on Tuesday announced that about 65,000 vacant posts, including 25,000 of teachers, in various government departments will be filled.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up 25,000 posts of teachers and 12,000 posts in police department, an official release quoting Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said.
In addition, 17,000 posts of Class III employees and 10,625 of Class IV employees would also be filled, it said.
The CM has directed all heads of departments and managing directors of boards and corporations to send lists of vacant Class III posts to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission by November 1, 2013.
The list of vacant Class IV posts would be forwarded to the office of the Chief Secretary. Hooda gave directions for the filling up of vacant posts reserved for Scheduled Castes and ex-servicemen, and to issue a separate advertisement for the same.
The release said that due to the retirement of a large number of employees, many posts have become vacant and the recruitment drive would provide employment opportunities to the youth and would also increase efficiency and competency of the administration.
