During the tenure of Jairam Government, most government jobs have been received from the Chief Minister's home district Mandi through the employment offices. In the last one year, 1784 youth of the state got government jobs. About one-third of these appointments have come from the people of the Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
The Mandi's figure is 564 whereas the people of the districts of Bilaspur, Lahaul and Kinnaur districts of the former Union Health Minister, JP Nadda did not get any job. The figure of the three districts is zero. Only nine in Kullu, 21 in Solan, 23 in Una and 83 in Chamba district have jobs. However, in addition to the employment offices, the government offers jobs through many more mediums.
There are many facts in the study of official statistics of all the employment offices in the state. There are 8.66 lakh unemployed registered in the province. There are 4.88 lakh men, 3.77 lakh women. According to the data, between April 1, 2018, and March 31, 2019, there are 853 people in the Mandi district of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. Of these, 564 were government and 289 less than half jobs were found in the private sector.
Kangra district is second in the state in government jobs. In Kangra, 381 youths got jobs in government departments in a year. At third place, 337 jobs were found in Hamirpur. At the same time, 186 people in Shimla, 180 government workers worked in Sirmaur. On the other hand, 21 seats in Solan, 23 in Una, 83 in Chamba and 83 in Kullu have got government placement.
Kangra is at the forefront of those who get a job in private jobs. In the private sector, 3021 people got jobs. In Mandi, 289, 386 in Hamirpur, 564 in Una, 329 in Solan, 166 in Sirmaur, 78 in Shimla, 106 in Bilaspur, 121 in Chamba and 172 in Kullu got placement in private sector. Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti are also in the case of placement in the private sector.
More than two lakh SC unemployed in 8.66
As per labour and employment department statistics, in the live register of the employment office, more than two lakh SC castes are registered as unemployed in a total of 8.66 people. 49,340 STs, 1.07 lakh OBCs and 4.98 lakh other castes unemployed are registered. The special thing is that 1.35 lakh graduates are unemployed and 6.5 lakh undergraduates.
