With Delhi University releasing its ninth cut-off list for the Academic Year 2017-2018 on Sunday, colleges are in a fix as they have very few seats left.
“Only those candidates who registered with DU, but were not admitted to any college, irrespective of the category, will be considered. For details about variation in cut-offs, the candidates are advised to contact the respective colleges on August 7,” the university said in a statement.
While no guidelines on filling vacant seats have been issued by the varsity, students (reserved category) who have already taken admission to DU colleges were not happy as the fresh cut-off does not apply to them.
As per schedule already notified (admissions will be on August 7 to August 9 2017), the eligible candidates who meet the requirements notified in the Ninth Admission cut-off list are further advised to complete their admission formalities in the Colleges concerned within the stipulated time, the university website notified earlier.
