In a bid to stop cheating, CTTV cameras will be installed at competitive exam centers, according to reports.

The report comes a week after FIRs were registered against invigilators for allowing students to cheat during UP board exam.

"Government is working whole-heartedly for the eradication of the 'nakal mafia',"  said Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma.

While the class X UP Board English exam was cancelled last week,  the question paper was reportedly circulated via Whatsaap.

Sources said that CTTV cameras will be installed at competitive exam centres only during the exams and then will be uninstalled from the respective centres.
