A dilemma for almost every student! Whether to concentrate on board exam or competitive exam? How to manage both at the same time? With both the exams approaching fast, the students panic and are often indecisive what to do. But instead of panicking, the students should make a strategy or a study plan that manages their time effectively so that they concentrate and prepare for both the exams simultaneously.
Make a Plan
The first thing you should do is to devise a plan. This helps a lot in managing time in the most proportionate manner. Note down the study time and time for other activities. Then further drill down to the subjects of study and write down which day will be dedicated to which subject or subjects. Take out time to practice test papers of competitive exams too. Making the plan will be fruitless if not implemented, hence make sure to stick to it.
Dedicate time as per your degree of ease
You may take a little longer to grasp some subjects. Dedicate your time accordingly. Always keep some extra time to develop competency for the complicated ones.
Set short term goals
Set short term goals. You can set twin or multiple goals considering both the exams in mind, and see towards the end of the week that how much have you actually covered. This will help you calculate your actual performance.
Do not stress
Many students over stress themselves. Being in fear and anxiety will never let you concentrate. Take short breaks and sound sleep in the night to boost your performance.
