To provide teachers more time to check answer sheets and to reduce the exam period. It is expected that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct exams of Class X and XII on the same dates in different shifts.
New plan has been made after a meeting of the board and few principals from top schools in Delhi and nearby areas was conducted.
CBSE has suggested reviewing the plan before a final submission.
The final exam begins in the month of March, a few exceptions like the delay in 2017 due to State Assembly elections.
The exams usually goes for 45 days and therefore teachers doesn’t get much time to correct the papers thoroughly before the results are declared in May.
Many criticisms were made this year on the massive errors in correction.
