Posts of teachers lying vacant under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Ministry in the state will be filled soon, a Rajasthan minister said on Tuesday.
“About 20,000 posts of teachers lying vacant across the state will be filled in first phase and any hurdle in the recruitment process will be removed,” Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said while addressing a meeting of officials here.
The focus of the department will be on posting at least two lower division clerk in each gram panchayat, he said.
Kataria also directed officials to study other states'' initiatives for improving mid-day meal scheme and water management.
