President Pranab Mukherjee will address faculty members and students at the Aligarh Muslim University's Murshidabad campus Dec 7.

The president will also inaugurate B.Ed course at the campus in West Bengal.

As the union finance minister, Mukherjee had laid the foundation stone of the campus Nov 20, 2010 in a 288-acre plot of land.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. (retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah, would welcome the president and present the report of the centre, which began functioning with two courses - MBA and an integrated BA-LLB - in 2010-11.
