KIIT Polytechnic (KP), the Diploma wing of KIIT Group of Institutions, has been awarded the Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India at the Global Education Awards-2014.
The award, an initiative of Prime Time Research Media, has been initiated to honour the achievers, innovators and leaders of the Education Sector in India, a KIIT release said here on Thursday.
The award, presented at a ceremony held in New Delhi recently, recognised the outstanding services and contribution to the education sector by KIIT Polytechnic, it said.
KIIT Polytechnic, earlier known as Kalinga Polytechnic, has evolved as one of the most cherished destinations for students aspiring for a bright career in technology.
Besides a cutting-edge academic curricula, it provides students good learning, intensive, caring and homely ambience to explore and grow as better individuals, it said.
The award ceremony was graced by Members of Parliament (RS) Dr Najma Heptulla, Dr Balchandra Mungekar and Amar Singh, Prof D K Vaid, Dean & Head, NCERT and Anand Kumar, Founder of Super-30, the release said.
