Nearly 60,000 students, both in regular and ex-regular streams, will write the State Matriculation Supplementary examinations-2013 in Odisha which is beginning on Tuesday.
The examinations would continue till June 21.
The State Board of Secondary Education (BSE), which conducts the Matriculation examinations, would hold the supplementary examinations in exactly at 271 centers across the state, BSE president D P Nanda said today.
While no schedule has yet been finalised for evaluation of answer sheets, it is presumed that the process of evaluation would end by the end of this month and the results shall be announced in the second week of July.
The BSE is hopeful that the successful students of supplementary examinations will not lose a year and shall take admissions in the Plus II streams before the classes in the junior colleges begin in August.
