Election to the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) and central council will be held Sep 13, the varsity announced Monday.
The last date for receiving of the nomination papers is Sept 4 and the shortlisted candidates will be published, after scrutiny, on the same day.
DU registrar Alka Sharma said the nomination papers for the DUSU posts would be available from the DU website while for the central council could be obtained from the colleges and the departments concerned.
"The dates for the counting of votes and declaration of the result would be announced later," she added.
On Saturday, the varsity appointed the chief election commissioner and returning officer for the free and fair conduct of elections.
