A total of 185 final year engineering students were shortlisted for interview during a three-day campus drive conducted by IT major Infosys at city based Kathir College of Engineering.
Totally 3,650 students from 143 colleges affiliated to Anna University---from Erode, Coimbatore, Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Nilgiris districts had registered for the drive, Dr J Amos Robert Jayachandran, Dean, Kathir College, said in a press release today.
The drive, from Jan 3, was conducted by Infosys and Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme of Anna University for Coimbatore Zone for the final year students doing their ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, EIE and ICE, the release said.
