The result for the UP Board 2020 is expected to declare after lockdown imposed by the central government across the country due to coronavirus pandemic. The Board postponed the evaluation process of the answer sheet till April 02. The process might delay further due to the fear of the coronavirus. The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education had begun the evaluation process for Class X and XII answer sheets on March 16, 2020. In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the government has postponed the evaluation process. So eventually the result also has been postponed and will not be declared on the date announced earlier. According to the media reports the result is likely to be declared in May last week.

 The UP Board Class  10, 12 Board Examinations 2020 was commenced from February 18, 2020.  The examinations for Physics and English were canceled for both Class 10 & Class 12 at 72 centers across the state in February 2020, by the UP Board. The examinations were reconducted on March 12, 2020.

Evaluation Centres:
Five centers have been set up in the district for evaluation of board examination copies. It provides for the evaluation of intermediate copies in high school and MG Inter College, MP Inter College and Jubilee Inter College at St Andrews Inter College and MSI Inter College. Duty of 3,196 teachers has been imposed at these centers for evaluation of copies. On the first day only 1868 teachers arrived, 1328 teachers were absent.
