UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 schedule update: In accordance with the directives of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) has updated the timeline for the second round of counselling for the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) for the year 2024. As a result, the registration period and online choice-filling have been extended until September 19. Candidates who are eligible and interested but have not yet submitted their applications can register for the second round of MBBS and BDS counselling on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

Candidates who have already completed their registration and paid the application fee are not required to reapply. However, it is essential for new applicants to register online by paying a registration fee of Rs 2,000 and submitting a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for government seats, Rs 2 lakh for private medical colleges, and Rs 1 lakh for private dental colleges.

Furthermore, the merit list for the second round, which was initially set to be released on September 15, will now be published on September 20. Candidates who are selected in this round will have the opportunity to fill in their choices starting from September 23. Only those candidates whose original documents have been verified and who have paid the security deposit will be eligible to fill in their choices.
