UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Lucknow has announced the schedule for the second round of Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes in medical and dental colleges across the state. Interested candidates will be able to register themselves for the same from 9 September 2024 by visiting the official website i.e. upneet.gov.in.
The registration window for the same will remain open till 13 September 2024. The candidates who registered for the first round of counselling and paid the registration fee of Rs 2,000 need not to pay the registration fee again for the second round. New candidates who did not participate in the first round will have to register online by paying the registration fee.
The candidates who registered but did not pay the registration fee and security deposit in the first round can participate in the second round by paying the amount as per the schedule. For participation in the second round, new candidates must deposit a security amount online of Rs 30,000 for government college seats, Rs 2,00,000 for private medical college seats, and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental college seats.
Candidates who were unallotted or not reported from the first round do not need to pay the security deposit again for the second round. Only candidates whose original documents have been verified online and who have deposited the security amount can complete the choice-filling process. Candidates who did not upload valid documents can upload documents again during the second round of registration and get their documents re-verified.
