NMMSS 2024-25: The Ministry of Education has opened the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) to submit applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS). Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. scholarships.gov.in to submit their applications for the NMMSS 2024.
The candidates must note that the application window for the same will remain open till 31 August 2024. NMMSS is awarded to meritorious school students of Class 9 to 12 of economically weaker sections to reduce their dropout rate at Class 8 and encourage them to continue their education at the secondary level.

The One-Time Registration (OTR) application has been launched on the NSP portal, offering a redesigned home page, mobile app, and updated web version. The application uses advanced technologies and has an enhanced user interface. OTR is a unique 14-digit number issued based on the Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment ID, valid for the student's academic lifecycle. The last date for submitting fresh/renewal applications for NMMSS is August 31, 2024.
