NEET UG Counselling 2024: The result of seat allocation in the first phase of NEET UG counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee will be released today. The seat locking process for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing courses has closed on August 21. MCC had extended the last date for choice filling and seat locking from August 20 to August 21. 

Additionally, the result of the first phase seat allocation will be released today. At the same time, between August 24 and August 29, the candidates will have to report to the colleges where the seat has been allotted to them. Data verification of the candidates will be done on August 30 and August 31.

MCC counseling will provide admission to 15% of All India quota seats in government colleges and 100% seats in deemed, central universities, ESIC, AFMS institutions, AIIMS, JIPMER. Whereas 85% seats are to be filled through state level counseling. Let us tell you that the counseling process is being done for 1.10 lakh MBBS seats and 27,868 BDS seats in 710 medical colleges. Apart from this, admission will be given on 1000 B.Sc Nursing seats. Many seats will be allotted in the country's Ayush and veterinary programs.

Second phase counselling will start from 5th September
The second phase counselling process will be conducted between 5th September and 10th September. The second phase seat allocation will be done on 11th-12th September. There will be a total of four phases of NEET counselling. The admission process will be completed by 30th October.
