NEET PG 2024 Counselling: The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET) PG 2024 counselling date will be announced soon. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will also release the NEET PG counselling schedule for 2024. It will be available on the official website i.e. mcc.nic.in. for the candidates.
NEET PG counselling is conducted every year for admission to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in various MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB programmes offered by the government and private medical colleges and universities. NEET PG counselling 2024 will be held in four stages i.e. round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round.
The committee can release more rounds depending on the number of vacant seats. The admission process will be conducted in stages i.e. registration, fee payment, choice-filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting to college. The NEET PG was conducted on 11 August 2024 in two shifts. The first shift commenced from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift was conducted from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The board released the NEET PG result on 23 August 2024.
The candidates may note that one of the best medical colleges, Lady Hardinge Medical College will also offer admissions to its PG medical programmes through NEET PG 2024. LHMC ranked 29th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 for the medical category.
