MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to release the seat allotment result for the second round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling 2024 today. Once the result is out, the candidates who participated in the same will be able to check the result by visiting the official website i.e. mcc.nic.in.
The counselling authorities revised the schedule after the National Medical Commission (NMC) approved new MBBS seats. According to the revised schedule, the candidates were able to fill choices for round 2 till 16 September 2024. Those who secure a seat in this round will have to report to the allotted institute from 20 and 26 September 2024.
The MCC will also release the NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result PDF containing the details of candidates and the courses and colleges allotted to them. Also, the candidates may note that they will require their login credentials to check the seat allotment result. The committee announced 6,947 virtual vacancies for NEET UG round 2 counselling and the addition of 614 seats in NEET UG round 2 counselling 2024.
However, the MCC will conduct a total of four rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling i.e. round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round, general and EWS candidates who have obtained 50th percentile, General-PwBD who have scored 45th percentile, and SC, ST, OBC.
