Kerala NEET UG 2024: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is all set to release the provisional seat allotment result for Kerala National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 round 2 today. Candidates who took part in the second round of counselling can check their results by visiting the official website i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in.

Once the results are released, the candidates will require their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth, to download the Kerala NEET UG round 2 seat allotment results. The candidates may note that after releasing the provisional result, the CEE Kerala will announce the state NEET UG final allotment result 2024 on 27 September 2024.

The provisional seat allotment result will be announced on the basis of options filled by candidates and the availability of seats and other factors such as the candidate's NEET UG rank, reservation criteria, and the choices they submitted during counselling. Once the seat allotment is released, the candidates must confirm their seat by paying the necessary fee and reporting to their allotted college.

To manage the preferences in seat allocation based on seat availability in later rounds of counselling, the candidates can check the options available such as if they accept the seat allotted to them and do not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling, candidates can choose the 'Freeze' option. If candidates accept the seat in a particular college but seek a higher-preference course within the same college, they can choose the 'Slide' option.

However, the 'float' option allows candidates to accept the allotted seat but still remain open to being considered for admission to higher preference colleges or courses in subsequent counselling rounds.
