IIST 2024 Rank List: The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has announced the IIST BTech 2024 rank list and counseling schedule today, 16 June. 

 

Candidates can download the IIST 2024 rank list and check the schedule too through the official website at iist.ac.in.

 

According to the counseling schedule, the IIST 2024 BTech first seat allocation result will be released on 17 June at 3 PM. 

 

Candidates muts note that the seat acceptance will begin immediately and will close on 19 June. The IIST 2024 seat allocation result for the second round will be released on 19 June. The final date for seat booking will be 21 June.

 

IIST 2024: Tie-breaking rules

  • Candidates can take a look at the IIST 2024 rank list tie-breaking policy below.
  • Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be awarded a higher rank.
  • If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie still remains, candidates with a higher rank in the JEE Main exam in the respective category will be awarded a higher rank.

 

IIST 2024 BTech Rank List: Key points

  • Registration for IIST BTech 2024 admission will be available in online mode for all eligible candidates.
  • The IIST rank list 2024 is prepared based on the candidates' total JEE Advanced scores for that particular session.
  • Based on the ranking in the IIST admission rank list, candidates will be called for the counseling and allocation process.
  • In the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, general category candidates need a minimum of 5% marks individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as an overall minimum of 20% marks. Candidates from the OBC-NCL category require an overall minimum of 18% and 4.5% individually in the three subjects. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and PwD candidates need a total of 10% and 2.5% in each subject to be eligible for admission.
